If your looking for a mechanically sound and dependable mustang at a fair price - and don't mind a few minor cosmetic issues, then this 2012 Mustang could be for you. I purchased this car just over a year ago – to work on with our son. Together, we upgraded the suspension by: replacing the springs, struts, shocks, and couple of worn bushings. Les Schwabb Tire Center aligned the front end and installed all new tires. We serviced the transmission, motor, and rear-end – and even replaced two of the progressive rear turn signals (expensive, but a nice option). Our son then used the car to commute 70 miles a day, for about a month (great car). Then, while celebrating his hiring for a better job, our son had an unfortunate parking lot incident (after the party) which resulted in a punctured radiator assembly, cracked front bumper, and deployed air-bag (pics are available). The insurance company paid me to make the repairs, but our son received a DUI for the incident. After the incident, I replaced the radiator, condenser, support, hoses, belts, front bumper, battery and air-bag. The alignment was verified (no adjustment required). This mustang runs, drives, and performs almost like new. These latest parts and repairs cost another $3,000. The title is still clear. Since then, we've put another 1000 miles on the car and it can be driven safely anywhere. It rides so nice that I often use the cruise control - to keep my speeds below 70. The A/C blows cold, stereo works great, and the tires are warranteed nation-wide. If someone else in our family needed a reliable car, I would not hesitate to offer them this one.
